VEATION is built on open source. The complete notices ship inside the application; this page lists the components whose licences carry obligations we owe you directly.
To complete before distributing installers: publish the exact FFmpeg source tree we build against and replace the link below. Shipping an FFmpeg binary under GPLv3 without offering its source is a licence breach.
VEATION distributes FFmpeg, licensed under the GNU General Public License version 3. You are entitled to the corresponding source code of the exact build we ship, which is available at [source URL pending]. A copy of the GPLv3 is included with the application.
NDI® is a registered trademark of Vizrt NDI AB — ndi.video. VEATION uses the NDI SDK under licence from Vizrt. NDI is not part of the VEATION product name, and Vizrt does not endorse VEATION.
HAP and HAP Q are open codecs, used under the terms published by the HAP project.
The Geist and Geist Mono typefaces are used under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.
VEATION is an Electron application. Electron is licensed under the MIT licence; Chromium under the BSD 3-clause licence and the other terms listed in its own notices, which ship with the application.
