Privacy notice

This notice covers the VEATION beta sign-up form on this website. It is written to meet the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR.

Who is responsible

What we collect, and why

• Email address — required. It is how we contact you about the beta.
• Name, studio or company, country — optional. So we can address you properly and understand who is interested.
• Profile, formats, operating system and graphics card — optional. These tell us which hardware and workflows the beta needs to cover.
• How you heard about us, and a campaign tag from the link you followed — optional. So we know which talks and posts reach people.

We do not collect special category data, and we do not ask for payment details.

Legal basis

• Running the beta programme — your consent, given with the tick box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time.
• News about VEATION — a separate, optional consent. Ticking it is not a condition of joining the beta, and every email has an unsubscribe link.

Who else sees it

The form is hosted on Netlify, which stores the submissions on our behalf as a data processor. If we later move the list to an email tool, this notice will name it before we do. We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising.

Where it is stored, and for how long

Submissions may be processed on servers outside the European Economic Area under the standard contractual clauses offered by our providers. We keep sign-ups until the beta programme ends or until you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first, and we review the list at least once a year.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you, correct, delete or export your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to withdraw consent. Write to privacy@veation.com and we will answer within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to your national supervisory authority — in Spain, the AEPD; in the UK, the ICO.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts. Nothing is stored in your browser. That is why you are not being asked to accept anything.
